Chinese Black Truffles
Season: October – April
We deliver carefully selected wild black truffles from multiple regions across China, ranging from the northeastern provinces to Yunnan, each with its own unique altitude, soil, and climate.
By highlighting the distinctive flavor and aroma of each origin, we provide chefs at fine dining restaurants and luxury hotels in Japan with a stable supply of truffles that meet the highest standards of quality.

The Appeal and Market Value of Black Truffles
The black truffle (Tuber indicum), often referred to as the “black diamond,” has long captivated gourmets worldwide with its rich, complex aroma and profound umami flavor.
While French and Italian truffles are the most renowned, Chinese black truffles have in recent years gained increasing recognition for their quality, fragrance, and exceptional cost-performance.
At our company, we go a step further by carefully selecting only those truffles with superior aroma, firm texture, and an elegant appearance. The result is a product of remarkable versatility – harmonizing seamlessly with Japanese, Western, or Chinese cuisine – while retaining its distinctive fragrance even in cooked dishes.

Quality Standards and Selection Process
Our Chinese black truffles are sourced in partnership with experienced local hunters, who carry out an initial selection immediately after harvest.
A second inspection is then conducted prior to import, during which the truffles are graded based on their aroma, appearance, and maturity.
-
- Aroma: balance of earthy, nutty, and smoky notes
- Texture: clarity of marbling pattern on the cut surface
- Freshness: strict time control from harvest to shipment under chilled storage
At every stage, we maintain a strict cold-chain logistics system to minimize any loss of fragrance or texture during transportation.
