【Growing Environment】

Occurs at elevations of 2000 – 3500 m in alpine temperate zones. Grows on the ground in highaltitude coniferous forests, including spruce, fir, and larch. Peak harvest during the rainy season (July – September).

【Distribution】

China: Yunnan, Sichuan, Tibet Autonomous Region. Occasionally found in Europe and North America, but commercial supply is mainly from China.
