【Features】
A large mushroom of the Termitomyces genus, naturally growing in symbiosis with termite nests. Known for its distinctive fragrant aroma and firm texture, it is called the “Queen of Mushrooms” in Yunnan, China. Extremely flavorful, ideal for stir-fries, stews, and soups.
【Growing Environment】
Grows in warm, humid broadleaf forests at altitudes of 1,200?2,200 m, around decaying wood,dead branches, and termite nests. Peak season occurs during the rainy season. Cultivation has begun in some areas in recent years.
【Distribution】
Yunnan, Sichuan, Guizhou, and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. Mostly harvested from summer to early autumn.
【Nutritional Value】
High in protein, low in fat, rich in B vitamins, essential amino acids, dietary fiber, and minerals (potassium, zinc, iron). May support immunity, antioxidant activity, and fatigue recovery.
